LifeWorks NW Director of Marketing and Communications will lead internal and external communication strategies to elevate LifeWorks NW visibility. This position will generate support and excitement about the company's mission, culture and clinical innovation by building upon a well-established reputation and new brand identity.
Pay/Benefits: $71,048 to $78,153 per year. Full benefits
Key desired skills and experience:
Track record in building and managing relationships with media, key stakeholders and internal audiences
Dynamic and engaging public speaker as well as an excellent written storyteller
Experience designing and implementing a social media strategy
Experience working in a healthcare system or HIPAA entity
Proven experience in supporting culture change through communications strategies
Ability to effectively engage and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Oversee the development and implementation of marketing strategy and campaigns, including creation and execution of the annual marketing plan, agency newsletter, annual report, management of campaign calendar and other marketing projects.
Collaborate with fund development department s to build and implement communications that drives participation in key fundraising activities.
Collaborate and support fund development department with key agency fund raising activities (collateral material, marketing, guiding consumer testimonials etc.)
Guide the day-to-day activities of the marketing/communications departments; develop and manage department budgets.
Manage stakeholder relationships and proactively communicate marketing team's activities as well as campaign progress and results.
Support the strategic objectives of LifeWorks NW by building and leading communications to thought leaders, donors, funders, and other key stakeholders.
Enhance and protect the company's reputation through timely and thoughtful responses to social media and crises
Enhance the employee experience by creating key opportunities to celebrate and promote organizational initiatives and stories that reinforce our mission, our brand, our daily work and culture
Articulate our company strategies and initiatives and help employees understand the role they play in bringing them to life and how they benefit our consumers and our communities.
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations environment, including project leadership experience.
Must be: able to meet deadlines, detail oriented, problem solving focused, self-directed, team focused and results oriented.
Requires demonstrated project management and strong organization skills and the flexibility to manage multiple projects.
Demonstrates effective communication skills and maintains a cooperative working relationship with others in a culturally diverse environment.
