New Relic's Lead Technical Training Specialist is responsible for the assessment, development, and delivery of New Relic Product Training Materials for Global Technical Support. We will work across GTS with Subject Matter Experts and partner with Key Product Stakeholders to settle on what training materials that need to be built. Whether we are identifying key skill opportunities or preparing GTS for new Product Launches this role will allow our customer-facing teams to be prepared to deliver outstanding customer experiences!

What You'll Do
Assess, develop and deliver training courses that are creative, engaging, meaningful, timely, and appropriate to the course topic and delivery method.
Develop supplemental documentation and course materials (ie: student and instructor guides, learning activities, and demo environments and applications to aid in learning).
Lead and deliver technical materials
Establish partnerships with product partners to understand product roadmaps, and ensure training courses reinforce business and product strategies that improve the customer experience.
Your Qualifications

Working knowledge and confirmed the application of adult learning theory and methodology
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills in large and small on-site classroom, and live/remote webinar
Working knowledge in one or more of the following: Ruby, .NET, PHP, Java, and Python languages; Windows and Linux Web servers; AWS, Azure, GCP Cloud Services; performance monitoring tools
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-organizational teams to success
Superb interpersonal skills, and the ability to adjust based on our audience
Quick learner who takes initiative to self-study new technology
Outstanding written, oral, and presentation skills
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Customer service or technical support experience
