This dynamic position is responsible for providing senior-level Human Resources generalist services and acts as a Business Partner to assigned work units in the Health Department. The Sr. HR Analyst supports managers, supervisors and employees with a variety of common and complex Human Resources functions. Supports include strategic workforce planning and staff development, employee engagement, team development, performance management, employee and labor relations that include discipline, grievance handling, internal investigation and termination processes, recruitment and hiring strategies and leave administration.
Work is performed independently, yet within a team environment to ensure matters are handled in a consistent manner and in alignment with Health Department and County-wide policies and standard practices.
The incumbent in this position is a subject matter expert in the areas listed above and is an individual contributor that supports business outcomes in Mental Health and Addiction Services, Public Health, Integrated Clinical Services, Corrections Health, the Director’s Office, and Business Services work units, as well as on the Human Resources team.
