Reed College seeks an enthusiastic and organized person to be our next Administrative Coordinator in the Office of Alumni Programs and Annual Fund (AP/AF). The Administrative Coordinator is our front line staff member responsible for greeting visitors and keeping our operation running smoothly. The AP/AF office is filled with talented and dedicated people who enjoy working together to increase philanthropic support and create an engaged alumni community. Our office is an energetic and exciting environment, with challenging fundraising goals, and is always bustling with activity!
This is full-time position. The work hours are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with some weekends and evenings as needed and a one hour unpaid lunch. Pay for this position $20.00 per hour.

-You have at least three years of progressively responsible administrative experience and know you love admin work.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
-Serve as the main point of contact for Alumni Programs and Annual Fund, communicating with alumni and friends of the college through a variety of daily correspondences via email, telephone, mail, and in person.
-Provide administrative support for AP/AF events, including maintain accurate RSVP lists, creating name tags for event attendees; entering post-event attendance numbers; and running event reports as needed. Events include but are not limited to:
*Volunteer fundraising events
*Alumni Holiday Party
*The Forum for Advancing Reed
-Manage the office’s email inbox, forwarding messages to the appropriate personnel.
-Assist in planning and scheduling AP/AF meetings and managing department calendars.
-Use Excel to prepare analytical reports about the outcomes of AP/AF fundraising campaigns.
-Data management, including ensuring information is correctly coded and logged in the appropriate systems and preparingand distributingweekly fundraising and volunteer reports.
-Manage one or more student workers, providing daily work assignments and approving time cards.
At least three years of progressively responsible administrative experience, or any combination of experience and education that would give you the ability to excel in this role.
