IT Specialist

Full time Temporary; non-exempt

Reports to: Director of Information and Technology

Catholic Charities needs a temporary I.T. Specialist to assist our IT team with M.S. Windows/Office 365 upgrades including rebuilds, imaging, troubleshooting computer and network issues and help desk support. The duration of work will be for approximately 6 months.


Upgrade and Configure Windows 7 and 10 OS on computers and Office 365
Perform enterprise application deployments (e.g. MDT)
Ability to install, configure software products such as AV, Adobe Pro, VPN etc. and assist with I.T. Help desk
Provide solutions to software, hardware or configuration problems that arise in the desktop environment. Knowledge of industry standards, characteristics, and features associated with personal computing hardware, peripheral devices, and computer network connectivity infrastructure.
Assist in Training end-users on Office 365
Develop, review and/or edit technical documentation.
Candidate should have the ability to work and communicate (both verbally and in writing)
Candidate should have the ability to effectively plan and organize work assignments.
Other duties as assigned.


Two years' experience with imaging technologies such as MDT
Two years of experience performing MS Windows 7, 10 and MS Office installations
Experience installing Office 365 preferred
Knowledge of DNS, DHCP and Active Directory
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to lift approximately up to 40 pounds.
Satisfactory results from criminal, civil and/or motor vehicle background check required
