Portland Community College is looking for an MWESB Outreach Coordinator to join the Planning and Capital Construction office. The person in this position will take the lead in engaging businesses registered or eligible to be registered as Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Emerging Small Businesses, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. While collaborating closely with department and College personnel, as well as contractors and consultants, this position will work to increase workforce diversity and opportunities for construction trade apprenticeships on College-wide capital projects.
This is a temporary Bond position through June 30, 2022.

Demonstrated ability to frame and integrate social equity and sustainability considerations into projects and programs, such as (e.g. LEED, Earth Advantage, Living Building Challenge, etc.).
Demonstrated experience in facilitating inclusive meetings. Effectively communicates with people across differences.
Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans to improve COBID use across the College
Demonstrated experience in collating vendor submitted information and creating reports and addressing issues with gaps in reporting
To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked).
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field WITH with course work in government procurement (Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.)
Five years work experience in purchasing in either a large public institution, or in a position which included procurement of construction services, as well as contract preparation

Starting Salary Expectations
Starting Salary: $50,414 to $54,003 (Step 3) - based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
Position Grade Salary Range $50414 to $87416 Annual Salary

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: Work is performed in a standard office environment. Exposure to computers occurs daily. Learned physical skill is required to perform keyboarding and 10 key functions.
