Morrison’s Therapeutic Foster Care has an open job opportunity! We’re hiring a Case Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for the supervision of Morrison’s certified foster homes and the development, management, and service delivery for clients in Therapeutic Foster Care Behavioral Support Services (BRS) Program. This position is an integral part of the program that provides coordination and communication between the treatment team and the foster homes. The role of the case manager is to provide one on one skills training services to foster children (4 to 17 years of age) in the program.

Case managers will support client intakes and discharges, and conduct home visits, complete monthly safety checks, attend monthly staff/foster parent trainings. Responsible for collection, clinical review, and uploading of client and required program documentation to client electronic files. Engaged and partner with foster parents, DHS caseworkers, and clinical teams supporting clients to increase coping skills, and work toward permanent long-term placements.

Education and Work Experience:
A typical background for the person who can fulfill the duties for this position is as follows:
 A bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
 Two years of direct practice experience.
 Supervisory experience preferred.
 Basic computer skills in word processing, databases, spreadsheets and email.

Valued but not required skills and experience:
 Knowledge of non-profit.
 Knowledge of electronic health records.
 Foster Care experience.
 Bilingual in the Spanish Language, written, spoken and read.

Other Requirements
 Pass a DHS criminal history background.
 Meet agency driving requirements.
 Travel
 Complete initial 28 hours of pre-service training within 30 day of hire; BRS Service Documentation, Program Policies and Expectations, Gender and cultural-specific services, Behavior and Crisis management, Medication Administration, Discipline and Restraint policies. ORR related trainings.
 Position may require employee to work irregular hours outside of the normal business hours including evenings and weekends. There is frequent travel and employee will perform duties at different agency locations, foster homes, and service areas. Travel may be required from Portland Metro Counties, and Linn, Benton, and Lincoln counties.

Starting Pay Range:
$16.00 - $16.37
