This position will be a full time position that will work Monday through Friday, typically between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm.

The Human Resources Specialist provides general support to Human Resources management staff and other employees while supporting a Trauma Informed Care environment. With the high prevalence of trauma among individuals receiving mental health services, it is required the Human Resources Specialist understand the effects of trauma on health, coping, and other aspects of the lives of those we serve. The Human Resources Specialist assists in the development of Human Resources policies, administers policies and interprets policy for Cascadia staff. The Human Resources Specialist may be assigned to focus on a specific functional area of Human Resources; Benefits, Compensation, Communication, Employee Relations, Safety, Credentialing, Recruitment and New Employee Orientation, and/or Compliance, or may provide general support in two or more functional areas. This position will focus on onboarding and communications.

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. PHR/SPHR certification is preferred.
Two to five years of progressive experience serving in an HR role.
Experience with on-boarding is preferred.
MS Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel
Operate computer hardware and software at a level needed to effectively perform job functions
Enter, retrieve, analyze data
Prepare moderate to complex reports
