TITLE: Bud Clark Acute Care Clinic Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Old Town Clinic
REPORTS TO: Associate Director of Primary Care
SALARY: $49,100 – $54,010
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 7:45am-4:45am

SUMMARY: The BCACC Coordinator provides direct patient and administrative support, with a focus on lean systems and optimal performance. The BCACC Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and improving the work of this team, ensuring care that is accountable, limited in scope, proactive, well-coordinated and patient-centered, addressing acute medical needs. Additionally, the BCACC Coordinator assists patients by facilitating establishment of primary care relationships and connection to other health services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School or GED required.
2. Bachelor’s degree in health related field or an equivalent combination of skills and
experience preferred.
3. Completion of all coursework for a Certificate-level Medical Assistant program
accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Educational programs
(CAAHEP) or ABHES accredited required.
4. Certified Medical Assistants preferred.
5. Minimum of one (1) year recent, verifiable medical assistant experience within a health
care setting, with a behavioral health setting preferred.
6. Supervisory experience preferred.
7. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
8. Previous experience working with underserved populations, specifically people without
stable housing, preferred.
9. Must meet CCC privileging requirements as required by FTCA.
10. Must have current CPR certification or must be able to obtain in one month.
11. If a recovering chemically dependent person, must be in a program of recovery and able
to provide demonstration of sobriety for a minimum of two years.
12. Must have the ability to read labels and distinguish between colors.
13. Must be physically able to walk, bend, stoop, be on feet for long periods of time, twist,
kneel, reach, squat, pull, lift heavy patients or objects and climb stairs several times a
day.
14. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, TB test, and background check.
15. Must be able to proficiently use the following computer programs: Word, Outlook and
Excel; Access is desirable; Centricity is desirable.
16. Will be required to carry an agency cell phone for work use. Cell phone will be provided
by Central City Concern.
17. Must adhere to agency’s non-discrimination policies.
18. Must possess the ability to effectively interact with co-workers and patients with diverse
ethnic backgrounds, religious views, political affiliation, cultural backgrounds, lifestyles
and sexual orientations and treat all individuals with respect and dignity.
