What you will do:
We are a small fast paced internal design team who takes responsibility and ownership in creating high caliber work for a beloved brand. We are here to provide design solutions for many different audiences through a variety of projects; from package design to environmental graphics to printed collateral.

As a Senior Designer you should be comfortable explaining and presenting your design work at high-visibility stakeholder level, as well as delivering guidance and leadership during the design process. To be successful you thrive on being challenged, are highly collaborative, thoughtful, take direction well, manage time efficiently and can effectively work from concept to execution of design projects.

The ideal candidate has:
6+ years of experience in-house or agency/studio environment
A strong, portfolio of diverse creative brand work. From logo design to brand packaging systems
Clear understanding of brand development workflows
A self-managing, motivated and entrepreneurial outlook
Experience working with other designers in a team/studio setting
Ability to deliver and take constructive feedback gracefully
Strong, unique communication and visualization skills
Expert understanding of the Creative Suite graphic applications
An understanding of prepress and printing processes
Packaging-design experience
A deep understanding of Powerpoint may bring us to tears.
Experience in Basecamp and/or Workfront
Here’s a day in the life:

Design and produce a variety of projects
Prepare and proof designs for print
Communicate strongly in written and oral communication, while delivering clear, concise information across teams
Is extremely organized and able to manage multiple projects at once, finding efficiencies across programs
Track projects in Basecamp (knowledge of Workfront a plus)
Maintain a professional and positive attitude in a fast paced environment
Utilize a computer with advanced skills in Adobe CS program
Work ethic and desire to expand skills and contribute to a beloved brand
Work collaboratively while inspiring and helping others become better designers
Take direction from Creative Director and Creative Manager.
Deliver and receive constructive feedback to achieve the objectives determined by each project
Collaborate in the development of brand and package design POVs
Contribute to the improvement of Tillamook’s brand-development process
Be aware of budgets and timelines as outlined by Project Managers
Skills you’ll need:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design

Experience:
6+ years of experience in-house or agency/studio environment
