CCC’s Blackburn Center is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner!
Blackburn Center is an innovative program that will offer integrated housing, health care, and employment services with the long term goal of eliminating homelessness. We seek to change how these services are delivered to all people, especially vulnerable populations. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) The PMHNP works collaboratively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team providing outpatient SUDS and Mental Health services.
Duties will include:
Work as a member of the Blackburn Center multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, client centered and trauma informed integrated services.
Provide direct patient care including but not limited to: face-to-face psychiatric evaluation, consultation, day-to-day treatment and discharge, follow up.
Document plan for medical and psychiatric treatment and on-going treatment in the outpatient setting.
Refer patients, as necessary, to other health care providers and community resources/services.
Provide patient education.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing and Master’s degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from State Board of Nursing approved schools of nursing.
Current license to practice nursing in Oregon and certified as a PMHNP by the Oregon State Board of Nursing and National certification.
Must have full prescriptive powers in Oregon with a DEA number.
Must have a DEA DATA waiver (X-DEA number) or have completed the training and received your DATA waiver within 90 days of hire.
Current CPR certification required
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, TB test, and background check. This includes clearance by the DHS Background Check Unit.
