The Associate Dean serves in a leadership role for College efforts related to online learning, instructional infrastructure, and other unique work within the Institutional Effectiveness & Planning division. The Associate Dean serves as primary strategist and producer of the college's online learning agenda, and works to promote responsible growth of online courses and programs in response to community and workforce needs.

In addition, the Associate Dean carries a portfolio of work that is broad in scope, in support of College strategic priorities. The Associate Dean leads the College's service-area assessment program, and serves as assessment/evaluation coach for select College departments. The AD works to build strategy for unique College resources, including offices, classrooms, and event facilities. The Associate Dean advances efforts to build a data-informed culture at Clackamas, and supervises a team of Applied Technologists who focus on customization/integration/adoption of new technologies. The Associate Dean makes significant contributions to ongoing efforts related to accreditation, planning, and continuous improvement. The Associate Dean is a strategist and ambassador, representing College interests to key State/regional networks, including the Oregon Community College Distance Learning Association.

Master's degree in Education, Public Affairs, Technology, or other fields relevant to the position's portfolio of work. Ability to lead the strategic growth of high-quality online learning. Evidence of progressively responsible leadership experience in education or related settings. Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of Clackamas Community College, including equity, collaboration, and student success. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
