The City of Gresham is seeking an organized professional to perform centralized asset management functions exclusively for Fire and Emergency Services. This role will coordinate maintenance, repair and inventory control functions. The schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
What you will get to do:

• Coordinate ordering, tracking and distribution of uniform items, personal protective equipment (PPE) gear, apparatus, small tools and equipment.
• Maintain inventory ensuring the appropriate quantities of materials and supplies are maintained
• Research vendors to evaluate quality and pricing options
• Process purchase requisitions
• Act as the centralized point of contact for all shipping, receiving and delivers of logistics-related stock for all fire stations and associated staff
• Assist in procuring living quarter and other station supplies
• Coordinate purchase, delivery, checking in, signing off, storing and budget allocation and tracking of items
• Develop and maintain documentation on all maintenance activities
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repair of hand tools
• Observe safe work methods and utilize related safety equipment as needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly Fire warehouse
• May operate Fire Department vehicles as necessary to perform job duties
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• Three to Five years of experience in warehouse operations (shipping, receiving, inventory) and in the maintenance and repair of small tools and equipment.
• Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
• Forklift certification
• Fire turn out inspection certification
