Hi, I’m Carolyn Rerick, Director of Sales Development, at Puppet,
I’m looking for an Inside Sales Representative, to join our team to generate, develop and close new business across the Puppet product & service offering within an assigned territory or named account list. Puppet has a strong community of users, a wide variety of existing clients all hungry to learn more about Puppet and how it can continue to improve their organization's data center operations.
At Puppet, the Inside Sales Team is a critical part of our customer acquisition strategy ensuring the continued growth of our footprint in the market. Our team works across all levels of a prospects organization to understand their business objectives and help them understand how Puppet can solve their business concerns. We leverage a highly personalized and strategic account based strategy so getting to know your prospects and what matters to them is key to your success.
Meaningful work you’ll contribute
Create new sales opportunities via cold calling & inbound lead follow-up
Research firms that fit Puppet’s ideal customer profile (ICP) and/or on the named accounts list
Speak with key executives/buyer personas/positions to create and develop interest in Puppet.
Nurture and close opportunities that result in incremental orders and revenue.
Responsible for pipeline growth and forecast accuracy in accordance with expectations set by sales leadership.
Conduct high level Puppet webinars & overview demo positioning the Puppet Value in partnership with assigned SE.

Valuable experiences and skills you’ll bring to Puppet
1 years’ experience in a B2B position with an emphasis on sales or sales development.
Ability to learn/improve to effectively present and explain product information to high-level management personnel at target companies and is able to adapt presentation style as needed.
Ability to engage with prospective customers based on open probes and creation of value statements that are provided.
Aptitude to master sales tools, process and provided training
Strong and articulate telephone personality and strong ability to create rapport.
Proven verbal and written communication skills, business-to-business phone communication skills (e.g., telemarketing, tele-selling, etc.).
Must be able to embrace feedback and hold yourself accountable to improve results
