Your New Role:
At its core, this Digital Design Manager position encompasses many of the creative and technical aspects of digital marketing. Monitoring social media channels, performing website maintenance and analysis, planning editorial calendars and content, and creating and executing print and digital work should all be well within your wheelhouse and projects you’re excited to tackle and own completely. Ideally, you’ll be able to translate your clear vision for the brand into print and digital projects across all platforms. On any given day you’ll pivot between designing the latest and greatest print ad, updating the company blog with fresh content, and posting new jobs to social media. The website content occasionally needs a refresh, which will require your knowledge of HTML, WordPress, and SEO best practices. You’ll work closely with the marketing team on strategies to maximize brand visibility whether that’s through targeted advertising, new community partnerships, or competitor research. Upcoming marketing initiatives include a website redesign, integration of video and graphics into the current website, and a renewed focus on SEO strategies.

As an integral part of the marketing team, you should have a can-do attitude and a ‘no job too big or small’ mentality. We’re looking for someone who’s proactive and able to see what needs to be done and execute with minimal oversight. Priorities change on a daily basis and it’s important that you’re flexible enough to shift gears to meet the greater needs of the business. We’re looking for a personable candidate who’s curious about the business, feels comfortable asking questions, and looks for ways to take their work to the next level.

Your New Organization:
Warning – this company has more fun than you’re used to! It’s a women-owned, family-oriented operation that’s big on sustainability and community engagement. The team truly cares about and respects each other and there’s no better place to have fun while developing the tools to grow your career. There are plenty of snacks, camaraderie, and furry friends to go around, and you’ll love partaking in the annual Spring Break and weekly happy hours. Some of the incredible perks of this role include an on-site fitness center, rooftop deck, and your choice of a TriMet subsidy or bike commuter stipend. You’ll also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plus match, life and disability insurance, maternity and/or paternity leave, volunteer time off, and a flexible spending account.
