Salary: $25.76 - $34.52 hourly

POSITION SUMMARY:
As an Assistant Management Analyst supporting the areas of Property and Environmental Services (PES) and Parks and Nature, you'll get to be a contributing team member working with two dynamic and interesting Metro departments! Whether you're passionate about recycling, sustainability, restoration, ensuring our community has better air quality and access to natural areas and want to support the continued success of these programs -- or just want to contribute to Metro's mission in a different capacity than your current position – the work you perform in this highly service-oriented role will be valued and impactful.

We're seeking:
• An engaged, detail-critical individual – someone who can adeptly thrive between performing the day-to-day transactional work and delivering on broader, department and program goals
• Someone who's curious – this means you know when to seek clarity and aren't afraid to ask deeper questions to understand the work
• A self-aware individual – you recognize your level of capability and strengths, knowing when to provide guidance and when to seek support.

Employees in this position provide contract administration support to project managers using a broad knowledge of procurement principals, techniques and contract administration, quality control, and project management skills. Responsibilities include entering purchase orders and requests, ensuring contract payments meet contract terms and agency policies, and research and analysis as requested by department project managers. Employees in this position run queries relating to project and operational expenses/revenues to ensure the proper utilization of budgets; when errors are found employees make the appropriate corrections via journal entries/vouchers. Employees may help monitor, support and review project and program department budgets but are more likely to perform ad hoc financial analysis on an as needed/requested basis. Employees in this position may also participate in developing documentation for budget adjustment requests and budget modifications.

This position works with multiple departments, project managers and staff under constant and continuous deadlines, requiring the ability to effectively prioritize, multitask and make independent decisions. In addition, this position provides information, data and analysis to help project managers and leadership make informed decisions.
