Learning.com Account Executives are responsible for creating and closing new business and upsell sales in school districts within their assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Create demand and interest for new and upsell business with school districts within assigned territory
Independently manage the sales cycle from prospecting through successful deal management and close
Successfully articulate the value of Learning.com product and services to new prospects
Create successful sales campaigns to drive interest and engage new prospects
Develop and implement comprehensive territory and account strategy plans
Track unique state and region activity, including competition, policy and funding changes, etc.
Develop and implement comprehensive territory and account strategy plans
Maintain a high level of activity to ensure daily, weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met and/or exceeded
Independently manage the entire sales cycle
Conduct onsite and/or web-based presentations and demonstrations
Maintain accurate records within the company's Customer Relations Management (CRM) system
Effectively transition daily account maintenance responsibilities to the Customer Success Manager (CSM)
Be an expert in Learning.com's products, solutions, policies and procedures
Negotiate contractual terms with prospects and clients
Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly new business sales
Manage pipeline, report on territory initiatives, trends, etc.
Manage travel and regional marketing expenses within budget
Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities: Individual Contributor

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-experience
Minimum 5-7 years SaaS, software or K-12 sales experience
Proven, successful field sales background to large customers; K-12 marketplace preferred
Solid command of major account sales fundamentals and strategic/consultative selling skills
A successful track record of driving new transactions with an annual quota of $750K
Strong presentation, communication, relationship-building skills
Experience with enterprise CRM system
Existing relationships within districts in assigned territory preferred
Entrepreneurial character
Self-directed overachiever with a strong work ethic
Must be able to travel as needed
Location: Must reside in Central Territory and in close proximity to major airport. Central Territory consists of the following states: AK, CO, IL, IA, KS, MI, MN, MO, MT, NE, ND, SD, WVA, WI, WY
