The Faculty Administrative Coordinator shares responsibility for helping the Dean of the Faculty and the Dean’s staff to provide assistance and services to the faculty. The faculty administrative coordinator is responsible for maintaining the Banner database, the faculty information system; developing and implementing faculty data systems and reporting mechanisms; supporting academic departments and programs; and editing and updating annual publications related to the faculty and faculty governance. In addition to having exceptional organizational and administrative skills, this position requires technical skills including competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Dropbox, computerized data management, and knowledge of, or ability to learn Web page design. The Faculty Administrative Coordinator is a member of the Dean’s staff and as such may contribute to any aspect of the team’s responsibilities. This position reports to the Associate to the Dean of the Faculty.
This is a 12-month, non-exempt position, working 32 hours a week (.85 FTE). The anticipated work schedule is 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
