Marmoset is seeking an Executive Assistant
This full-time opportunity requires someone with experience supporting and assisting at an executive level. The ideal candidate is evenly split between Type A and Type B personalities, is strong and assertive, highly personable/social, detail-oriented, and has a core mastery of: managing calendars and schedules, arranging travel, managing communications (mostly email) for a CEO, leading meeting logistics and note-taking, and other miscellaneous admin support. Managing details and deadlines are your super power and you’re experienced at amplifying the efficiency and impact of a key executive. You’re unflappable and regularly excel under pressure with a calm, cool, zen-like ease.
Basics: Details are your middle name. You’re highly organized and very proactive. You’re able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at one time. You’re a pro at communicating expectations and determining priorities among multiple stakeholders and projects. You constantly strive to learn new things and improve processes. You’re willing to commit to a 2- year timeframe in this position.
Personality: You’re confident, strong, assertive and are comfortable pushing back -- even with a CEO. You’re socially adept and have a bottomless well of energy and positivity to draw from. You welcome criticism and seek critical feedback. You’re able to succeed in a fast-paced, frenetic, often distracting environment with zen-like ease. You approach challenges with an open mind and a sense of humor. You’re humble and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty -- willing to do whatever it takes to complete a project.
Abilities: Strong attention to detail, highly organized, good researcher, and a fast learner. Excellent organization and time management skills. Your confidence and “can do” attitude carry you far. You’re a scheduling magician, able to juggle while sprinting. If you don’t know how to do something, you find out how and do it.
Experience: You have previous experience working as an Executive Assistant and know how to block, be the gatekeeper and protect the time and energy of a CEO. You’ve worked on a team where your strong attention to detail, organization and positive attitude have made an impact. You have references to prove it.
Passion: You enjoy supporting + maintaining relationships and making a difference in the world.
