The Senior Advancement Officer works to identify, qualify, cultivate and solicit major and planned gifts from alumni, parents and friends of the College, manages a list of tracked major gift prospects including stewardship plans; and engages in a high level of prospect contact.
What You'll Do
Manage and maintain a portfolio of 130-140 major gift prospects.
Identify potential prospects for the research team.
Schedule a personal visit to qualify them as major gift prospects after research is complete.
Develop and implement comprehensive cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies for these prospects.
Collaborate with the research team and major gift colleagues.
Work both independently and in concert with Deans, faculty, faculty emeriti and volunteers.
Coordinate with Annual Giving, Foundation Relations, Donor Relations and Prospect Research to develop and implement strategic plans to strengthen, deepen, and expand relationships with donors and potential donors.
Attend appropriate College events, programs and meetings.
3 years of experience with Fundraising/Project Management.
3 years Personal Solicitation.
2 years Prospect Management.
1 year Donor Stewardship.
Ability to honor and work with all identities and individuals, particularly those who are underrepresented in the country and/or at Lewis & Clark College.
