Overview of the position:
Jama Software is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, detail oriented Graphic Designer to bring the Jama brand to life through creative strategy and execution across marketing programs, digital, events and content. You will communicate and support marketing initiatives through images and layout that inspire, inform, or captivate. Reporting to Manager of Brand and Content Strategy, the Graphic Designer will work with the Marketing team to deliver unique, effective, and visually inspiring concepts that resonate with our target market.
What you'll get to do:
Spearhead ideation, design and development of high-quality creative work that pushes the Jama brand forward.
Partner and collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve a cohesive experience across all marketing channels.
Responsible for image sourcing, overall layout, creatives and production design for eBooks, interactive content, web images, banners, ads, webinar decks, PowerPoint presentations, and more.
Help bring new ideas to the team for design and content creation using your expertise and eye for great design.
Work collaboratively with our team of writers and marketers to communicate technical possibilities, limitations, and resource requirements for each project.
Meet with key stakeholders to determine the scope of a project.
Illustrate concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy and presenting designs to key stakeholders for design review and edits.
Manage and maintain design production calendar.
Manage style guides and templates to ensure scalability.
Education and Experience:
3+ years B2B/Software/Technology in-house design experience required.
Ability to demonstrate creativity and originality through a professional portfolio that features your best designs.
Ability to relate to different points of view, receive feedback and adapt as needed.
Expertly skilled at using graphics and design to clearly define, illustrate, and explain complex technical subject matter.
Stays current with design technology and emerging media communication channels and trends.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
Strong project management, communication and organization skills with a high level of accountability.
Self-motivated and driven to deliver high quality, impactful, results-focused, creative work
Creative and flexible, with acute attention to details and deadlines.
Handles and welcomes constructive criticism.
