Volunteers of America Oregon is a seeking a Staff Accountant to join our exceptional team. The Staff Accountant is responsible for recording and monitoring the organization’s revenues and receivables, performing some AP and payroll functions and assisting in the monthly, quarterly and year-end full cycle financial close. In addition, this position is responsible for some reconciliations of general ledger accounts including contributions, accounts receivable, accounts payable, deferrals, preparation of monthly financial statements, and oversight of annual equipment inventory.

The Staff Accountant performs these duties with precision and in a manner that is professional and helpful. Communications are clear to internal and external customers. Duties may change with or without notice and the Staff Accountant must adjust the activities to reflect these changes.
