The Corporate Communications Program Manager is responsible for executing Advantis’ internal corporate communications strategy, supporting a well-informed workforce and a dynamic internal culture. The role will create and manage content for internal communications, assist with content for marketing initiatives, and manage and maintain the intranet. The Program Manager is responsible for establishing a strong internal and external brand presence through community events and sponsorships, encouraging volunteerism throughout the credit union, and maintaining relationships with select employer groups (SEGs).

Responsibilities of this role include:
•Manages the development and execution of Advantis’ internal communications strategy including the development of an annual corporate communications plan.
•Develops and edits articles and content that aligns with Advantis’ brand for various communication channels including Advantis’ intranet, organization-wide emails, marketing initiatives, community involvement and internal campaigns.
•Serves as Producer in the production of Advantis internal and external videos. Conducts research, develops scripts, schedules production activity and coordinates shoots. Edits video and audio using editing software.
•Assists in the development and maintenance of Advantis’ corporate communications standards, Partners with Advantis’ leadership and management team to ensure guidelines are being followed.
•Manages corporate communication requests from internal departments. Edits, drafts and aligns messaging with corporate communications standards, goals, and strategy.
•Serves as backup for Community Relations Manager and supports crisis communications efforts on behalf of Advantis.
•Writes creative content for marketing initiatives as needed (newsletters, social media, web, product promotions).
•Develops and edits articles and content for various communication channels including daily/weekly employee news, organization-wide emails, executive communications, and internal campaigns.
•Assists in the management and development of the intranet, leveraging technology to continually improve communications and employee engagement.
•Develops and maintains a strategy for consistently messaging about the “credit union difference” to Advantis members, building a loyal and well-informed membership.
•Assists the Community Relations Manager in coordinating all credit union events, such as fundraisers, volunteer events, and branch grand openings, and through the coordination and tracking of Advantis sponsorships, charitable and volunteer programs.
•Maintains relationships with Advantis’ select employer groups, creating a network of contacts and cultivating financial education partnership opportunities.
•Delivers occasional financial education presentations and coordinates with Advantis subject matter experts for onsite financial workshops.
•Sources and writes articles, tips, and resources that will assist members on a variety of financial topics.

Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or public relations required.
•Basic graphic design skills, and basic video production and editing skills.
•Excellent public speaking skills to make effective, persuasive presentations to both large and small groups. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
•Excellent, accurate writing skills stressing creativity, composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation.
•Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and ability to work independently as well as with others to resolve problems effectively.
•Flexibility to deal with unexpected events, and frequently attend meetings and events that may occur outside of regularly scheduled work hours.
•Frequent driving to attend events and visit Advantis locations, SEG and vendor meetings. A valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle are required.
