The on-call childcare provider will oversee childcare and activities for 5-8 children at a time during weekly support group sessions for women. The on-call childcare provider will assist the administrative support person in creating and implementing activities.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee childcare and activities for 5-8 children at a time during weekly support group sessions for women.
Provide direction to volunteers as needed.
Assist administrative support person in creating child friendly activities based on curriculum used for the women's group.
Adherence to El Programa Hispano Catolico policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by EPHC supervisor.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Child care certification and CPR certificaiton preffered.
Experience working with and supervising young children.
Commitment to EPHC mission to work in partnership with vulnerable populations to achieve lasting solutions to poverty and injustice.
Demonstrate judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential matters.
Beginner skills in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Must be able to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, resolve problems, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met in a timely manner.
Ability to work well in team setting, as well as independently; be flexible and adapt well to different dynamics.
Ability to lift 40 pounds.
Successful completion of civil, criminal and/or motor vehicle background checks.
Ability to support organizational and program specific mission and goals.
