Role Title: Assistant Director of Analyst Operations

Department: Analyst Operations - Certification

Summary: The Assistant Director of Operations will oversee LegitScript’s certification programs. The Assistant Director role requires people leadership and management skills, as well as process management and cross-functional collaboration skills. The individual in this role should have the ability to lead and coach others in alignment with LegitScript’s management philosophy, and an understanding of operational efficiency and how to apply such principles within and across programs, in a fast paced environment. This role will engage in client relationship management and report to the Director of Analyst Operations.

Tasks and Activities

Assess operational efficiency.
Create sustainable, repeatable processes.
Assist in instituting meaningful measurements of operational efficiency.
Develop ability to oversee and support Program Managers.


Demonstrates understanding of overall operational efficiency, in analyst workflow as well as at a programmatic level.
Effectively designs, implements, and tracks program’s KPIs and/or other meaningful measurements.
Improves long-term success rate of processes.

Key Performance Area #4: Strategic and Tactical Planning

Tasks and Activities

Spearhead planning for annual needs of the program(s).
Demonstrate understanding of resource planning.
Create strategic and tactical plans that support business objectives.
Coordinate new business opportunities with all applicable departments, as needed: Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Talent & Culture, and Legal.
Identify areas of underutilization and suggest ways to increase utilization.


Strategic and tactical plans are realistic, actionable, and aligned with the company’s business objectives.
Utilization remains stable or increases.

Key Performance Area #5: Cross-functional Collaboration

Tasks and Activities:

Identify and effectively communicate cross-functional deficiencies and strengths as well as their impact to programs.
Collaboratively work with other programs and departments to optimize cross-functional communications and workflows.

Relevant information is shared with impacted programs.
Established expertise and strong understanding of overall company-wide services.

Additional preferred competencies:

Experience working in a start-up company environment.
Experience in writing business assumptions and collaborating with a product management team to define software requirements.
Experience in effective change management.
Strong knowledge of internet infrastructure.
Experience with managing multinational projects.
Experience in healthcare-related regulatory compliance or another regulatory compliance field.
