The Oregon Health Authority is modernizing and expanding their IT infrastructure and currently has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manager with IT Project Delivery Skills to join an excellent team and work to advance their IT operations.

What you will do!
As the IT Project Delivery Manager, you will lead and manage the delivery of major technology initiatives on behalf of the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and the Department of Human Services (DHS). Your responsibilities will include ensuring that agency projects with technology components are staffed with the appropriate level to implement best practices and complete projects successfully.
In this role, you will partner closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) Manager and other team members to implement and operationalize mature project practices. You will connect disparate work activities to other groups, program areas, and State/Federal partners.
Additionally, you will partner with executive leaders within and outside of OHA/DHS including federal funding partners, the Department of Administrative Services, and the Legislative Fiscal Office. You will advise the IT Director of Project Solutions and the OHA/DHS CIO regarding project statuses, project issues requiring escalation or resolution and make recommendations on a variety of project-related topics.

This is a full-time, permanent position that is classified as management service, supervisory and is not represented by a union.
This position will be located in Salem at 3990 Fairview Industrial Drive SE.
Three years of management experience in a public or private organization which included responsibility for each of the following: a) development of program rules and policies, b) development of long- and short-range goals and plans, c) program evaluation, and d) budget preparation.
Two years of management experience in a public or private organization which included responsibility for each of the following: a) development of program rules and policies, b) development of long- and short-range goals and plans, c) program evaluation, and d) budget preparation; AND 45-48 quarter hours (30-32 semester hours) of graduate level coursework in management.
Three years of professional experience as a program/project leader, assigning and reviewing work of professional staff (e.g., engineers, etc.) including project responsibility for developing goals and objectives, project evaluation, and monitoring and controlling or preparing a budget.
• Demonstrated experience in successful delivery of complex technology projects.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
