This position is day time operating hours, generally 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday and will require the flexibility to work later hours as needed. This position will be a part of Cascadia's accounting team located at the administrative offices in NE Portland, near the Lloyd Center.

The Controller reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and supports the Senior Leadership Team. The Controller is responsible for the development, oversight and management of Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare’s (CBH) accounting and financial functions and activities, and the development and implementation of financial controls, segregation of duties, policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance to generally accepted accounting principles, tax requirements, Federal and State non-profit regulatory requirements and grant provisions. The Controller monitors the progress and results of departmental plans; advocates and engages in cross-functional actions and initiatives to improve the effectiveness of financial reporting at the Organization. The Controller supports the CFO in reporting CBH’s financial activities to internal and external stakeholders.

Requires a degree in finance or Accounting, an active CPA and 7 yrs. of experience
