You'll work with a variety of customers who range from small independents to world-class enterprise organizations. The role involves bringing a fresh perspective, learning and teaching: solving and preventing problems: and, ultimately contributing to the progression of the Customer Success department.

Comfortable writing code in object-oriented scripting languages
Working knowledge of the SDLC and understands continuous integration and delivery
Experience with CI/CD and automation and other configuration management tools
Familiar with source control systems such as Git
Able to read and understand scripting, programming code logic, and complex log file output
Have a technical degree (CS/IT/Eng/ITSec) or equivalent experience
Are a technically skilled professional who demonstrates strong communication skills.
You enjoy collaborating with various teams and they feel the same about you
Love the idea of using your knowledge to help the team develop with the outcome of happier teammates and customers
Enjoy and are skilled at troubleshooting and debugging complex technical issues at all levels of an application stack
Love working with customers around the world who encounter complex problems and rely on your skills and expertise to help them
Skilled in analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with customers, to determine if system requirements are met
Identify trends and report on areas of concern. You articulate issues clearly, cite the implications and offer alternative options for consideration
Partner with other support engineers to troubleshoot and diagnose customer issues
Advocate for customers and product quality within the engineering and product management organizations
Are exceptionally flexible and can context switch without it disrupting your positive disposition
Pride yourself on being self-motivated and self-directed
Can work a variety of different shifts based on customer commitments
Able to participate in the "on call" rotation

Preferred but not required

Know and have used software automation, ideally Puppet, Unix &/or Linux SysAdmin from either working directly or very closely with DevOps. (Ideally, have at least one year of hands-on experience using Puppet
Knowledge of web server configuration, such as Apache or Nginx. Experience with system and application services scripting and general
Competency in Bash scripting
The desire to be part of and contribute to the open source community
Have experience writing technical documentation
You like to tinker with code in replication environments across multiple platforms
Experience with case management channels of delivering support
Comfortable writing shell scripting code with Ruby, Python, or similar
Emerging Puppet technologies such as HA, VRX, and more
