Responsible for the installation, support and maintenance of plant production equipment and facility's equipment. Will work closely with manufacturing to plan new product introduction from purchase through handoff for production. Will work to meet production needs and recommend improvements to existing equipment.

Provide technical assistance in installation and maintenance of company equipment.
Visit equipment vendor site if needed to review capabilities of equipment or solve issues.
Perform equipment upgrades as per requirements.
Analyze equipment malfunctions and failures and accordingly develop corrective actions.
Develop improvements to enhance equipment reliability and scalability.
Develop preventive maintenance procedures to reduce equipment failures.
Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements.
Work with management to develop equipment specifications for next generation products.
Work with Specialists to design and develop new equipment.
Maintain documentations for equipment installation, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures for reference purposes.
Provide 24/7 support for troubleshooting equipment when needed.
Test and approve new equipment before handing off to production.
Develop cost-reduction initiatives while still maintaining quality and productivity.
Provide job assistance and conduct job trainings for employees as needed.
Act as primary contact for equipment performance related questions and concerns.

Ability to read, understand and follow instructions from maintenance and service manuals.
Ability to install new equipment and troubleshoot issues.
Ability to fabricate, modify, and improve upon manufacturing and support equipment in order to meet or exceed productivity requirements.
Ability to use and understand maintenance test and measurement equipment.
Ability to use mechanical and machine tools and general machining and metal shop equipment.
Ability to understand and carry out detailed, involved instructions both verbal and written; to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in or from standardized situations.
Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or other form.
Read work orders; scrap tickets, job lot tickets, graphs, logs, schedules, etc.
Observe and read instruments, gauges, dials, etc., to determine operating conditions.
Read and interpret detailed prints, sketches, layouts, specifications, etc.
Identify and list production data such as quantities, pressures, alloys and operating conditions.
Inspect, examine, and observe for obvious product or equipment defects.
Compute and calculate amounts of additives, results of tests, etc.
Use measuring devices such as micrometers, calibrated steel tapes, callipers, etc., where precision and interpretation are required.
Operate industrial trucks such as forklifts, table lifts and cranes.
Use non-power hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, etc.

Requires Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline and a minimum of 4 years of experience installing CNC Machines and related manufacturing equipment.

Job requires hours that will exceed their regular shift hours during times of peak activity. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or sit; manipulate objects, tools, and controls; walk, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs. and lift more than 50 lbs with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, the ability to focus, and the ability to distinguish colors. Will work near and/or with moving mechanical parts, electrical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, and airborne particles; use of Personal Protection Devices is required.
