Specialist III, Standards – Distribution Engineering & Standards


This position is responsible for performing the duties of a fully competent specialist in the areas of transmission and distribution equipment and material management, device maintenance, and reliability improvement. Coordinate all revisions to T&D material and equipment catalog additions, deletions, and revisions. Develop and maintain transmission and distribution device maintenance records.


Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
At least 3 years working in the field of electric utility engineering, standards, or material management.
Effective written communication skills. Ability to prepare and deliver presentation materials with minimal supervision.
Basic knowledge of PGE or utility construction practices and procedures.
Thorough knowledge of PGE or utility Standards and Distribution Engineering software applications including PeopleSoft, Maximo, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
Basic knowledge of electric distribution equipment and materials.
