The Management Analyst I is a new position within the Administrative Services office with Health and Human Services. This position will be involved in the creation of innovative training, job aides and other resources to ensure Health & Human Services has needed information to help maintain strong partnerships between Administrative Services and the other divisions. This position will also be instrumental in ensuring proactive review of various grants and contracts to ensure all legal requirements are met and documented, and performing various analysis as needed.
The ideal candidate will be a highly independent self-starter with a track record in process improvement and great customer service. This individual is highly collaborative, flexible and adaptable. They have experience working in an accounting, budget and/or finance setting with experience reviewing and administering contracts. The ability to research and apply best practices and do deep analysis on topics to ensure a thorough understanding of them is highly desired. Excellent time management skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, professionalism and resourcefulness are a must in this role.
Preference will be given to candidates who have significant experience taking complex documents, such as contracts, and creating user friendly tools, job aides and trainings to help simplify processes for others.
Education and Experience:
A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in public or business administration, finance, economics, statistics, accounting or a related field that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities; OR
Possession of an Associate's Degree in public or business administration, finance, economics, statistics, accounting or a related field that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities; AND two (2) years of responsible professional work experience in administrative, operations, budgetary, financial, or similar analysis; OR
Four (4) years of responsible work experience in administrative, operations, budgetary, and similar analysis.
If you have completed education in a foreign college or university and are using this education to meet the minimum qualifications, you must provide documentation that the foreign education is comparable to that received within the United States' accredited college or university system or your application will not be accepted.
Salary $31.11 - $37.80 Hourly
