The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District seeks a System Administrator to maintain all components of our physical and virtual network infrastructure and systems. Our organization is accelerating and requires a strong system administrator who can help us meet the needs of the organization, our customers, and our operations. Successful applicants will possess at least three years of work experience in a full-service information services department as well as a four-year degree in computer science or a related field. The system administrator reports directly to the Information Services Manager and has no supervisory duties themselves.

Components of the job include (but are not limited to):
• Managing network and cloud based hardware, software, and transport solutions
• Trouble shooting network connectivity and application problems and taking corrective measures to ensure resolution
• Assisting in the development of network and computer system recommendations
• Working in an open and collaborative manner with the IS department, THPRD leadership, and district employees

We require knowledge and experience in:
• Wired and wireless networks
• VoIP
• Server operations
• Virtual environment
• Applications services
• Enterprise security
• Windows Services
• Active Directories
• Linux
• Exchange
• Enterprise databases

THPRD prefers applicants hold applicable certifications in the field of Information Systems (Microsoft Certified Professional, Cisco Certified Network Associate, Barracuda Certified Engineer, etc.) Please indicate all certifications which you currently hold in the certification section of your application.
