General Summary:

This position is a GTM expert for the Columbia Brand. This position will represent the Columbia Brand and lead the product teams in seasonal calendar timelines maintaining excellent working relationships across divisional teams to effectively align and execute planned timeline activities.


•This position will represent the Columbia Brand and lead the product teams in seasonal calendar timelines and execution
•Responsible for driving the seasonal product creation cadence by leading bi-weekly operation meetings to keep divisional teams aware of issues, milestones are met or appropriate action plans are formulated
•Manages the timeline adherence by maintaining performance measures through seasonal performance dashboards and milestone recaps
•Identifies risk areas and brings appropriate teams together to drive resolution
•Process enhancement communication and recommendations back to Product Creation Ops team
•Provides recommendations to internal and external partners to resolve issues in a timely manner as pertains to calendar and process
•Work on special projects, assignments and tasks as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

•Bachelor's Degree in merchandising, design, business, marketing, sales or other relevant field
•5-8 years of experience in product creation
•Excels understanding of Product Creation processes related to Design, Merchandising and Product Development
•Outstanding knowledge PDM process steps related to line/style creation and maintenance
•Advanced knowledge and proficiency with Excel, Access, Illustrator, InDesign, SAP (or similar scale ERP), PDM ( or similar scale PLM), TM1, master data, Project Management
•Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
•Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers
•Proven ability to prioritize with appropriate urgency
•5-8 years professional experience and general proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures related to design and merchandising operations
•Ability to lead projects that support strategic and tactical goals
•2+ years of hands on system implementation
•Strong written and verbal communications skills required. Equally comfortable discussing the strategic perspective and implementation details with business peers
•Ability to lead/drive implementation of strategic vision

Job Conditions:
•Daily travel in/around CSC campus may be required
•Job requires hours that exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week during times of peak activity
•Job pressure exists in the balancing of several projects with conflicting and sometimes changing deadlines
•Evening meetings and/or weekend work occasionally required to collaborate with people in other time zones and to ensure timely project completion
•US holidays "on call" work required to support a global businesses
•Requires ability to travel to other CSC global locations
