As our Security Shift Supervisor (Graveyard), you will lead, oversee and train our security agent team. While working the Graveyard shift, you will provide protection for all Rose Quarter facilities both internally and externally against trespassers, vandalism, theft, fire, or other threats discovered through patrol and surveillance of our facilities. This is a key role in supporting our operational value around our dedication to safety with an emphasis in providing a safe and fun environment, not only for our guests, but also for all of our team members.

We are hiring for the Graveyard shift (0000-0800).

You will be responsible for:
. Supervising and training the Facility Security team which could include providing corrective action such as counseling, warnings and performance evaluations. 
. Being a source of information for our guests by answering questions and providing information. 
. Investigating complaints and recommending corrective actions as needed to resolve any issues. 
. Collaborating with internal teams such as Guest Experience or People & Culture when needed. 
. Patrolling the facilities on foot or in a designated patrol vehicle. 
. Checking facilities and equipment for needed maintenance and repairs; turning lights and alarms on and off; operating Security and Fire Command computers within the Command Center. 
. Maintaining equipment use, incident records and operational records and preparing related reports. 
. Being responsible and alert during emergency situations such as monitoring fire alarms and responding appropriately, assisting in the evacuation of guests and employees, providing medical assistance as needed,assisting emergency responders by directing traffic, playing a key part in crowd control, and securing any necessary equipment. 
. Working and communicating with local authorities to address criminal activity on and off the Rose Quarter campus. 
. Ensuring all logs are properly utilized to include shipping and receiving information.
. Maintaining and communicating via radio communication with fellow supervisors and agents. 

You are qualified if:
. You have received a certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training. 
. You possess leadership qualities and can assign, review, and check the work of other employees as well as provide instructions about procedures and help in resolving problems.
. You form positive relationships with external and internal contacts.
. You are able to work in a dynamic environment and make sound/solid decisions at a moment’s notice without direct supervision. 
. You demonstrate the ability to communicate and train a diverse group of people. 
. You show personal dedication and the highest quality standards.
. You can build relationships and work with various outlets of Law Enforcement, Company Executives, peers and public. 
. You possess a valid State Driver License. 
. You have a current DPSST Unarmed Private Security certification, as well as the ability to obtain a DPSST Supervisory Manager certification within 6 months.
. You are able to lift over 50lbs. and are able to walk, including the use of stairs, for extended periods.
. You are willing to work in sometimes cold and wintery conditions.
. You are able to work a Graveyard shift 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM.
