A Little About You:
You have a love for technology, for crafting graceful systems, for balancing many tasks at once, and for helping others. You have a strong customer service or help-desk background and know how to treat your co-workers as loyal clients. You have a strong attention to detail, but you may also enjoy getting into the weeds on process flow and efficiency -- figuring out the best way to do something is just as important as getting the thing done! You should be comfortable and secure with technology, from printers to Mac OS, and you may even have some experience with enterprise network and endpoint management.
The IT Support Associate is the first line of defense for Fully’s internal IT & Systems help desk-- supporting the team through maintaining and troubleshooting its many electronic devices, computer programs, and online systems. This position is in charge of responding to the equipment, systems, and website questions and support requests, for assisting end-users directly in resolving issues when appropriate, and escalating them to other members of the team when necessary. This position relies on strong triaging skills, making sure that support requests are prioritized appropriately and resolved in a timely manner.
This position also maintains the inventory of IT peripherals (monitors, keyboards, etc), and be responsible for keeping a working inventory. It will include troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining network, VoIP, and workstation equipment and systems.
The IT Support Associate may also do occasional basic HTML updates and product maintenance on our Magento website, simple ERP updates, updates to our intranet, or maintenance of various forms, spreadsheets, or business processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receives and processes IT help desk tickets and escalations
Provides support services to internal and/or external users of the organization's computer systems and network
Acts as first-level problem identifier and resolver
Coordinates user problems resolution with appropriate resource if necessary
Learns and keeps up-to-date on basics of back-end processes used by other departments
Manages inventory and ordering of non-computer IT equipment
Maintains and troubleshoots printers
Supports occasional video recording
Administers and supports VoIP phone system
Facilitates IT onboarding for new employees
Centrally manages employee-deployed computers
Manages facility network infrastructure
Skills and Qualifications:
Customer service and/or help desk experience preferred
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Good troubleshooting skills.
Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed environment
Excellent attention to visual and written detail
Excellent time management skills
Excellent computer skills
Strong decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking skills
Enterprise network and/or endpoint management preferred
1-2 years IT experience strongly preferred
Customer Service experience valuable
IT educational background preferred but not required
Reports to: Director of Technology
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, 40 hours per week.
Compensation: Salaried full time. We evaluate our compensation offerings according to market medians and internal pay equity. The salary range starts at $42,000 per year with the range increasing DOE.
