The ideal candidate for this role will be well versed in the real estate industry and possess an ability to succeed in a senior management role directing Washington County's real property program. This position will be expected to effectively present program information and real property recommendations to executive and elected leadership regarding the acquisition and disposition of County properties. Lastly, the ideal candidate will embody four characteristics: competence, confidence, collegiality, and commitment to meet the current and future needs of Washington County's real property program and the staff and communities we support.
Education and Experience
A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
An Associate's Degree in real estate law, contract law, business administration, or similar field of study AND four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in real property management including both commercial and residential; OR
Six (6) years total of responsible real property management experience including both commercial and residential.
Additional Licenses, Certificates, Physical Abilities and Specialty Requirements
Must possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record per Washington County policy.
Must pass Washington County Sheriff's Office criminal background check and maintain access rights to all jail facilities and other department secure areas.
If you have completed education in a foreign college or university and are using this education to meet the minimum qualifications, you must provide documentation that the foreign education is comparable to that received within the United States' accredited college or university system or your application will not be accepted.
Salary: $6,903.67 - $8,387.93 Monthly
