Role:

The accountant is to help manage finances on behalf of Luke-Dorf.



Responsibilities:

Assists with managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
Oversees employee payroll
Records all donations and ensures funds are used properly
Performs ad-hoc financial analysis, calculations and planning
Creates sales and cash flow reports
Assists with monthly close processes
Balance sheets reconciliations
Assistance with the budget and reforecast
Manages the inventory
Reviews reports to generate income forecasts
Makes sure staff members are adhering to company policies and relevant laws
Creates accurate, detailed reports to illustrate data

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred for this position.
Previous accounting experience is required.
Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel is needed.
Self-motivated; however, collaboration is necessary, and the accountant must be able to work as part of a team.
Prior experience in the nonprofit sector, particularly working with grants is preferred.
