The Community Services Program Manager oversees programs, operations, staffing, and compliance with policies and procedures within the Community Services department.
Duties include: directing, coordinating, and reviewing work for assigned staff; leading and providing support to strategic plan initiatives; program and service evaluation and development; reviewing and responding to complaints; building partnerships with service providers and community partners; identifying funding sources; and ensuring grant administration and reporting is in compliance.
This position will be based at our Hollywood East office located at:
1605 NE 45th Avenue
Portland, OR 97213
The ideal candidate will have: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or University with major course work in social work, social services or a related field. A Masters in Social Work or Counseling is preferred.
At least five years of increasing responsible experience in social services working with homeless or at-risk of homelessness low-income families and/or individuals with disabilities; direct client service; program development, planning, and implementation experience with three years of increasingly responsible management, administrative, and supervisory responsibilities.
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
