Under the supervision of the Chief Technology Officer, this position is responsible for maintaining the City website and Intranet and to assist other Computer Analysts in the Department.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Overseeing all Website and Intranet operations and troubleshooting all technical issues
Ensuring the Website is in compliance with all industry standards and ADA requirements and proactively ensuring that department content remains current and useful
Software Development, including; C#, Angular, REST, SQL, GIT
Backup assistance for various Police Systems and general desktop support throughout the City.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have solid technical experience and training in basic computer programs and hardware and have worked in a public service setting or be familiar with the importance of customer support. Any experience with web design is an advantage.
Skills include, but are not limited to:
Experience with html editing and database management.
Experience with Drupal is desired
Knowledge of and training in desktop and portable computer operating systems
Identifying and repairing both hardware and software system problems
Experience with mobile device management systems.
Candidates who become finalists for consideration will be required to fill out a complete personal history and undergo a criminal background check.
Priority consideration will be given to applicants with two years related work experience and knowledge of website support and design and general IT desktop support.
