The City of Tigard's City Management Department is currently seeking a qualified Senior Management Analyst. This person will be play a pivotal role by analyzing a variety of administrative and operational issues or problems, collecting data, prepares statical and analytic reports.

•Research and analyze a variety of operational or administrative issues and challenges.
•Knowledgeable of the methods and procedures used in collecting, analyzing, interpreting and reporting data.
•Provide administrative and analytical support to departments and/or assist higher level employees accomplish functions at the division level.
•Personal contact is primarily with departmental employees, representatives of other City departments and with the public for exchanging information and for conducting research, budget or personnel activities.

•Proficient project manager who understand the importance of long-term visions while being mindful of day-to-day operations.
•Familiarity analyzing processes, developing and applying performance metrics, collecting data and producing analytics to make more informed decisions.
•Able to seek solutions in data sets and has the mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities and developed recommendations that can be supported with verifiable information.
•Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to adapt with different audiences.


Any combination of training and experience, which would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be: • Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business or public administration, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, AND
•Four (4) years increasingly responsible professional administrative and analytical experience in municipal government, including experience in budget, strategic planning, policy analysis, organizational development, and/or personnel management.
Licenses and Certifications: Possession of a valid driver's license with satisfactory driving history

Schedule: Monday-Thursday (10 hours a day)
