Salary: $49,481 - $71,749 annually
This is an internal and a First Opportunity recruitment opportunity. This position provides high-level executive support to the Executive Director and Deputy Director of the Oregon Convention Center (OCC) to further strategic and tactical goals. The person in this position stays informed of events in the building, potential security issues, facility projects, large capital projects, potential media issues, staff issues or any other material happenings; plays a key role in facilitating a smooth flow of operations within the office and acts as a resource to all OCC administrative assistants and staff members. The Executive Assistant liaises between OCC and Metro departments, participates in projects and leads staff initiatives. This position reports to Executive Director.

A minimum of four years of experience in an administrative assistant or executive assistant position and a high school diploma or GED (Associate's degree or higher preferred), or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training that would provide the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the successful performance of the essential job duties. May be required to obtain a current and valid Oregon Notary Public Certification.
