 Position Title: Quality Specialist II
 Department: Quality Management
 Employment Status: Full-Time
 Pay: $14.00-$16.00 per hour

The Quality Specialist II (QS) will be responsible for reviewing documentation for all levels of care, all departments and locations. In so doing, the QS must possess a comprehensive understanding of American Society of Addictions Medicine (ASAM) patient placement criteria, compliance standards for quality care, and the contract requirements of referents. This position works collaboratively and respectfully with clinical and other staff to further the mission of De Paul and to support clients.

• Experience with substance use disorders and mental health services
• Experience with clinical documentation review
• Experience, competence and comfort with working a fast-paced environment
• Experience with diagnosis and billing codes
• Experience with ASAM criteria and levels of care
• Knowledge of medical, quality improvements and utilization management practices in a managed care environment
