Coordinate the day-to-day operations of assigned program areas in the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships. Lead, coordinate, train and monitor the work of assigned staff members. Provides financial aid counseling to students and parents regarding all aspects of the financial aid process. Support team meetings and trainings, and assists in managing daily office work flow within the department and ensuring that the requirements of the various federal, state, and institution regulations in place are met. Will professionally and in a customer service oriented manner develop and conduct dynamic financial aid/scholarship training and information workshops, continuously incorporating changing regulations and procedures.

Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the duties as described. A Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, education, student services, or related field AND three years' experience in financial aid including one year coordinating services. Demonstrated experience in student financial aid directly related to financial aid counseling, eligibility determination, needs analysis, verification, and packaging required. Experience with personal computers and online student data bases required (E.g. COD, NSLDS, CPS Online, FAMS). Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications software, office procedures, and operation of standard office equipment. Knowledge of good practices in customer service. Experience creating and/or delivering engaging presentations.

Valid Driver License acceptable in the State of Oregon.

Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Education, Student Affairs, or related field. NASFAA credentials.
