Position Summary:
The Development Coordinator for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) provides support for the college’s fundraising efforts. The position works with the CLAS Development team, the CLAS Dean, CLAS staff and faculty, and PSU Foundation staff to advance annual fund activities and philanthropic support, and provides development administrative support.

The Development Coordinator is the primary CLAS development administrative assistant and contact for partners across campus.

This position reports to the Director of Development for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Salary: $41,581-$52,000 DOE

Summary of Required Duties:

-Foundation Fund Management for CLAS.
-Technical and Administrative Support for CLAS stewardship, events, scholarships, and engagement.
-Information Management (Using donor database to create an appropriate list for appeals or events).
-Development and Fundraising for CLAS.

Required Qualifications, Education, and Experience:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
-Strong organizational and administrative skills.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write and proofread documents.
-Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
-Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities.
-Excellent analytical, and written and verbal communication skills.
-A strong track record in managing multiple tasks in a deadline-oriented environment.
-Ability to grasp complex subjects; meet project deadlines.
-Demonstrated computer proficiency, including experience using MS office applications and G suite.
-Reliable, regular, and predictable attendance.
-Successful completion of a background check.
