• Position Title: Youth and Family Clinical Director
• Employment Status: Full-time, exempt
• Shift: Weekday
• Pay: Salary competitive & commensurate with experience
The Youth and Family Clinical Director plays a key role in accomplishing De Paul’s mission by developing quality treatment services that are responsive to patient needs and strengths, reflective of current research and best practices. Establishing a therapeutic environment in which staff works together so that our patients’ needs, individual circumstances and cultures determine the optimal clinical approach. Understands the concept of being “in service” and models this to all staff, patients and contractors. Serves as a role model by demonstrating and working with staff and patients from the De Paul values of faith, trust, love, unity, respect, humility, integrity, courage and creativity. Operates program in a fiscally creative and responsible manner. Acts as part of the leadership team of the agency and demonstrates to staff an awareness of program as a part of the whole of De Paul Treatment Centers.
This position directly supervises:
• Education Manager
• Milieu Manager
• Youth Addictions Counselors
• Youth Dual Diagnosis Counselors
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience
• Graduate degree in psychology, social work, or other behavioral health field.
• CADC II or III preferred
• Licensure preferred
We encourage applications from those in recovery, but we require 2+ years of continuous sobriety. A DHS criminal background investigation is conducted on all new employees. Convictions are evaluated for each position and are not necessarily disqualifying.
