Our team enables New Relic to attract and retain the best talent in the industry by providing outstanding consultation to client groups for all compensation-related matters -- from job evaluations to offer reviews (and everything in between). We develop, implement, and lead compensation programs. We craft meaningful communications that engage and educate employees and management to the impact of our programs and policies. We implement, communicate, and administer short and long-term incentives, reward and recognition programs, benchmarking and survey analysis, emerging trends, new technologies, and compensation training.

Ideally you will sit in our San Francisco headquarters. Opportunity to work from a remote office may be available depending on applicant location.

What You'll Do
High-touch collaboration with HR Business Partners and senior business leaders regarding compensation philosophy, trends, practices, and programs, including in-depth analyses and guidance for twice-yearly comp review process.
Conduct job evaluations and offer analysis to support rapid company growth and highly-ambitious hiring goals, including reviewing initial analyses of more junior level team members.
Partner with Rewards leadership on Executive Compensation.
Draft content and project lead 5 times/year Compensation Committee meeting process.
Perform deep analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact of alternatives.
Manage or contribute to high-profile project, initiatives, and rewards programs.
Your Qualifications
Must-have:

7+ years of demonstrated compensation experience.
Involvement in crafting executive offers and benchmarking and/or Compensation Committee materials.
Experienced with stock compensation, ideally from a public company.
Worked in a dynamic technical culture.
Project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
Sense of urgency in driving projects to completion.
Solid attention to detail and dedication to customer service.
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (e.g., if/then statements, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, creative formulas).
Nice-to-have:

A Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.
Experience working with modern HR technology such as Workday (including Advanced Compensation), Payfactors, and Syndio.
Experience using Radford survey market data.
Experience with the Google Suite of products.
