Stoel Rives has an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer Recruiting Manager, based in either of our Seattle, Portland or Salt Lake City offices. This position leads the firm’s Lateral Partner, Associate and Law School hiring and is responsible for the full cycle recruitment, alignment of strategies, processes, and policies. The Lawyer Recruiting Manager works closely with the firm leadership including the Firm Managing Partner, Practice Group Leaders, Office Managing Partners, and Office Administrators. This position closely collaborates with and reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition.

Specific job duties:
· Advocates for our Diversity, Inclusion and Equality initiatives and provides guidance to ensure we are acting with foresight and integrity in our recruiting practices
· Provides quality team leadership for the Lawyer Recruiting team through positive mentoring, conducting regular one on one meetings, creating and guiding adherence to policies and processes, and taking ownership of team performance
· Builds and Maintains strong working relationships with Practice Group Leaders, Office Managing Partners and other key stakeholders
· Assists in developing hiring rationale and gathering appropriate approvals for positions and subsequent offers
· Develops and evolves Talent Pipelines strategies for all levels of lawyer recruitment
· Builds employer brand recognition with a strategic group of Universities and encourages alumni engagement
· Manages 1L & 2L recruitment and oversees the Summer Associate Program
· Participates in Recruiting Committee meetings and helps committee Chairpersons make meetings focused and productive
· Creates and communicates to leadership regular reports associated with hiring, diversity and other metrics as needed

Position requirements:
· Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business or other related field preferred
· At least five years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition required, preferably utilizing Behavioral and Competency based criteria
· Advanced knowledge working with and maintaining Applicant Tracking Systems
· Legal or Professional Services industry experience preferred
· Experience managing a small team to build professional skills, engagement and business acumen
· Excellent relationship development skills at all levels
· Experience managing vendors and agencies as a primary contact and valued business partner
· Highly developed multi-tasking and project management skills working with remote offices
