Salary: $75,551 to $105,042 annually
The Equity Analyst will coordinate research and data analysis to support DEI efforts within Metro to advance the objectives of the Strategic Plan to Advance Racial Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. This work will include managing the development of an evaluation framework that will be used Metro-wide to ensure their alignment with the goals of the Strategic Plan to Advance Racial Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
As the Equity Analyst you will organize community meetings, direct engagement opportunities and committee invites to support Metro staff in building meaningful community engagement into the implementation and evaluation of Metro programs and policies.
The Equity Analyst will also provide technical assistance and program support for Metro departments and partner agencies, as well as assistance with incorporating equity considerations into new policies, programs and plans.

The successful candidate will have any combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job. This includes at least five years of directly related and progressively responsible experience advancing programs with a racial equity lens; and a Bachelor's or other degree in public health, economics, business, labor studies, public policy, ethnic studies, sociology, urban planning, or related disciplines.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously to achieve goals.
• Effective facilitation of groups with a variety of stakeholders Ability to incorporate a racial equity analysis into conducting and evaluating research projects.
• Ability to collaborate on research and analysis projects with a range of technical experts.
• Experience advancing racial equity policies and programs in impacted communities through work with organizations that could include government agencies, non-profit and community organizations.
