Position Summary:
The Learning and Organizational Development Coordinator supports Home Forward's strategic and operational objectives in the following way: Drives cultural transformation through investment in our people. Plan, create, deliver, and provide oversight for agency learning, professional development and training opportunities to support employee and organizational performance, engage staff and develop employees. Provide coaching, facilitation, team development, process re-engineering and organization development services in partnership with agency leaders to implement strategic and organization improvement initiatives; provide assessment and evaluation services to individuals, supervisors and departments to determine learning and/or organization development needs; assist in the design, creation and implementation of a competency based supervisory and leadership development and training program; perform ongoing analysis of current and future learning and organization development plans and programs; design and develop original content or direct the work of consultants hired to provide learning and development opportunities.
In this context, the incumbent in this position will collaborate with others at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders in the consideration of significant goals, concepts, initiatives, and other activities that profoundly affect Home Forward, its employees, and the people that it serves.

This opening is stationed at our main facility located in downtown Portland at: 135 SW Ash Street Portland, OR 97204

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Education: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in instructional design, education, psychology or a related field. Alternative education and experience qualifications welcome; Three years of increasingly responsible experience creating, assessing, managing, coordinating and delivering a variety of multimodal, complex leaning and development programming in an employer setting.
