Navigation & Case Management Specialist
Save First Financial Wellness
Full-time / Non-Exempt (40 hours/week)
Reports to: Assistant Director of Emergency Services
Save First Financial Wellness, a service of Catholic Charities (CC), supports financial empowerment for individuals and families through a continuum of services. We are looking for a person with a keen attention to detail that enjoys a fast-paced environment to provide navigation of resources and case management to the clients of Save First, and with the following qualities and interests:

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Respond to program inquiries, conduct intakes and assess eligibility for program services as clients prepare to enter services within Save First.
Coordinate emergency assistance for eligible clients by communicating with clients and vendors, collecting and completing necessary paperwork and vouchers, and submitting requests to CC accounting department. Follow-up with clients as necessary.
Provide information and referral services as needed.
Conduct needs assessment to ensure access to internal programs as well as outside community partners.
Provide case management for Save First clients, including support around obtaining employment and housing.
Provide financial coaching for clients whose needs are too complex for our volunteer coaches due to their needs (such as mental health and/or disability).
Assist Save First clients with increasing income through resume building, finding employment, and Social Security applications
Meet with clients to provide high-quality and culturally specific assessment, information & referral and readiness mapping for services in Save First.
Maintain electronic records of clients receiving navigation services in Save First.
Serve as a liaison to agency programs and community partners with the purpose of screening for readiness of financial empowerment services.
Assist as necessary with scheduling of services, and contacting community partners, if outside referral is appropriate.
Provide supervision of interns, JVs, and other emergency services staff as necessary.
Provide grant writing support as needed to increase access to services for clients and program sustainability.
Participate in trainings and coordination meetings as requested by Supervisor.
Adherence to Catholic Charities policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned
Master's degree in social work or human services required. Experience in Mental Health field preferred.
Bilingual required; bi-cultural preferred.
Knowledge of available community resources strongly preferred.
Ability to greet and work with members of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds and have strong inter-personal skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrate judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential matters.
Ability to effectively work with standard Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint and Adobe Suite. Experience in Salesforce a plus.
Must be able to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met in a timely manner. High attention to detail required.
Willingness to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well in team setting, as well as independently, and be flexible and adapt to different dynamics in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, which could include some evenings and weekends.

Ability to lift 40 pounds.
Travel may be required. Must have driver's license, access to vehicle and ability to obtain automobile insurance at levels required by agency (100/300/100).
Satisfactory results from civil, criminal, and motor vehicle background check required
